Hello all! As you may have noticed, I have not updated in a while and I apologize. Just when I thought I'd get the ball rolling again, it has come to grinding halt. However, I have a pretty good reason. I'm getting married and that in itself is a full time job! Plus, before all that hoopla took place, I had a major catastrophe with my computer. Can't make an online comic without a computer!
I'm not exactly sure when I'll plan to jump in again but it will have to be after the wedding (April 28th). I'll tentatively say the early summer for now. There's so much to do (i.e. setting up all the wedding issues, moving to a new home and adjusting to my new life with Davene) that I hardly have any time to do much of anything. This is a really big deal for me since I reckoned I'd be a bachelor for the rest of my life. But sometimes the right person comes along and you just can't let it slip through your fingers. I promise that I'll be back soon and in full force especially since this story means so much to me and apparently to many readers, which still amazes me. I shall return.

Yep, it's been a long time. Things were a lot tougher than I had hoped and I've gone through quite a bit. SInce the last time I posted (and the following are just the highlights), I've dealt with the loss of my sister, bought my first home, drown myself in the Playstation 2, spent a lot of time at work, spent a lot of time with the family, and met a great girl named Davene. In fact she's the reason why I'm back. Life is good again.
I know many of you have been sending me emails and I haven't responded and that was all due to the past events and for that I apologize. I appreciate all the words of encouragement and support and I promise you that I've read EVERYTHING. BUT I got so backlogged that it became impossible to answer them all. Not to mention that when I moved into my new home, my computer was down for months and more recently a nasty storm blew out my modem for a few months to boot. I'm usually pretty good about response and I promise to back on the ball here. If there were any burning unanswered questions, please email me and I promise a prompt response.
Now with all apologies out of the way, I'd like to say that I'll be starting the next pages this weekend. This is where the story gets pretty action-packed and rather bloody but you must've seen it coming when these guys are immortal.
One other thing, there were some link requests that I was supposed to make a while back but like an idiot, I've lost the email. If you resend your info, I'll be happy to make the links. Thanks!

Due to the recent and unexpected death of my sister, who I was very close to, I will be taking a break from The Eternity Axis for a little while. I'm very sorry but I need the time to get my head and my family together. I will return and I'm talking in terms of a few months. Until then, everyone, please take care.kc

Howdy all. I was dead serious about the next page coming soon. If I could only draw, scan, clean, color, set-text, and html a page per week I'd be kickin' ass and takin' names. But I'm not. So I'll have to settle with taking names.
I figure everyone guessed who the new Templar was. No real surprise there... there's only so many mind boggling twists you can put in a plot before it gets ridiculous so it seemed appropriate to ease onto that story point.
I've started the next page's layout and it will be up soon. That's it for now. later.kc

Happy Millennium/Century/New Year... whatever. Hope everything is good in your part of the world. Yes, its a much different look for the site and I busted my butt on it!! NO FRAMES. And because of that, I've managed a little more "real estate" for the story pages in hopes that I might be able to do more horizontal formats. I've added a lot of new stuff in the "extras" and separated the links to other sites into a section I've named "offworld" (something a little more creative than "links").
WEAPONS! The Templar have hundreds of weapons but I only had enough time to detail three of them. I'll add more as the story progresses. The issue on additions really lies in the time I take to create each weapon in a 3-D program. Ultimately, I'd like to make a QTVR doc for each weapon so you can check out them out on your own terms but that'll require me learning the software, so until then, a nice render is the best I can do.
I'm right smack in the middle of drawing the next page, it'll be up pretty dang soon. So, if you're nawing-at-the-bit to see the face of the new Templar it shouldn't be long at all.

Hey kids! Two new pages in the story section. And unfortunately no one gets to see who the new Templar is until next year. Why? Well, it's only a month and a half away and I need time to focus on completing the new and improved site. Anyway, I finally got to draw a few Monix and I hope they look pretty vicious... because they're supposed to. The best part about drawing these guys is that they're all different (missing limbs, augmentations and the like). Page 49 on the other hand, was a chore. It's the whole lighting issue, it needed to look right to make the place look special. I think I found a good solution.
Well, that's it for me. Hope y'all have good plans for the holidays and be careful out there on the millennium. Ya know it would be a perfect time for an invasion from the Monix, 'cause everybody'll be drunk... that is if your old enough to drink! See you guys next year.kc

As you may have noticed, I haven't updated the story, yet. I'm working on that. In fact, I have a page finished but didn't feel like coloring it. Instead, I felt more like drawing. These things happen. I get addicted to drawing and I can't stop until it runs it's course through my system. Hey, at least you'll get at two pages at once! All in all, I'm running behind. Plus, I've been really busy (more than usual which I guess would be *really-really busy*) with my day job which has me doing things like plenty of overtime and short business trips. I'm not complaining, mind you, I just wish I had something for you guys TO READ!
On another note, I'd like to give a big thanks to Attila J. Juhasz for writing about The Eternity Axis in his column in the latest issue of Sci-Fi Teen Magazine (from Starlog magazine). I was deeply honored. Especially since it was much more substantial than I had anticipated.
Next on the agenda, I've started writing the html for the millennium site. No...no, it won't be touting anything about the millennium or anything ridiculous like that, it's just that it gets posted on January 1st 2000, if I'm not too hung-over. And if the world doesn't blow up. However, it will be a big difference from what I have now. For starters, it will be much sleeker looking. Also the navigation will be a little easier. And I'll be moving the news to the front page and adding new sections with more details on things like the Templar weaponry.

Alright! The next page is up. If you're wondering if that creature that's in the frame with Balt is a Monix, it is. If you don't know what a Monix is, go here. Now I can kick back and enjoy what's left of my Labor Day weekend, such as playing Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver. Not tonight of course, being that it's 3:30 in the morning. Hey all. As I'm sure you could already tell, there's no update to the story this month. Sorry. I HAD to take the time off to promote the site with a few people (which entails a lot more than that sounds like it should, but it'll be very cool) and begin the designs for next year's site which is going to be completely different and much better. You're probably thinking that it seems a little early to start that stuff but I need to make sure that I'm far ahead of the game, long before any problems can arise. Besides, I'm pretty busy during the holidays. Too busy to be tweaking a website. Especially when this year is the big Millennium thing. Anyway, I HAVE recently started the next page and it should be up relatively soon. Later.kc

Happy fourth of July! I just got back from vacation and that's why this page is a little late (and because I was screwing around on my new Mac for most of last month). I also cleaned up the "story" page so you might notice it looks a little better. Oh yeah, my modem is obviously up and running so I'm back on the internet again. Well... that's all I've got to say. Just an FYI here. I recently bought a powermac G3 and sold my old mac so I'm relatively off the air for a short while. Why? Well, Apple has a deal where you may choose between a 56K modem or a Zip, so I sold everything including my modem to get all the new crap. And because it's a "rebate" I'll have to wait a while before I get my modem (4 to 6 weeks), hense my inability to connect to the internet. However, I am still RECIEVING email and can still do minor updates, I just can't reply easily to feedback that you send me. I have a partial connection at work but I can't spend much time on EA from there because, well, I'm at work. All these growing pains are well worth it though. As soon as I'm reconnected I'll be ridding high on the hog. My new G3 will allow me to run faster and jump higher like a brand new pair of shoes! Except in this case I really will be running faster.
