4/24/99

As promised, I got the next page posted before the 1st of the month. A pretty dang important page to boot. It's the turning point for the entire story. From here on out things are going to be pretty chaotic and rightfully so. Chaotic but more interesting and now I'll take a deep breath because sometimes it felt like I was never going to make it here. Especially because I knew this page was going to take some extra effort. Call it a "hump" page. I'm looking forward to drawing the next stuff, now.

In other news, I'd just like to say thank you for all the kind words from you guys. Without you I would've burned out by now! More to come soon.kc

One more page. And it ends on an interrupted sentence... sorry. I'm still busy. If I can get the next page out earlier than the 1st of next month, I will.

The only other addition is a second color image of "Rachel" in the extras section. Big deal, I know, but it's a close up of her face and it illustrates what she looks like better than the full length grayscale image.

Got myself a WACOM drawing tablet to help with the Photoshop work and I'm still getting used to it. It's very different to what I'm used to but it's much more natural. However, I'm so used to the unnatural that the natural feels unnatural. heh.

One other thing, I'm thinking of doing T-shirts but not I'm sure if they would sell. Click on the link below to see the layout I'm thinking of. Kinda biker-gang looking. I didn't want to hurt that approach so I'm keeping the "advertising" very small on the back, circling the small logo. Curious to what y'all think. Later.kc

Okay, I was sick quite a bit in February so I was unable to do as much as I wanted. All I could poop out this month was one page and the addition of one new character-bio to the extras page. This character is damn important though 'cause she's the one that got this whole thing started. But over the course of 14 years she's gotten a restructuring, redesigning and a bit of a demotion.

I will try to get more up as soon as possible. The page after next will take a bit due to the fact that it's a doubletruck' (twice the size of a normal page) and a lot of detail. Look for more soon. kc

Yo! First I'd like to say... Denver Broncos YEEEEAH! Other than that, I've posted three more pages to this chapter that ends with some closure (not a lot, but its a big turning point for the story). Well, that's all I got to say for now. I'm tired, I'm sleepy, I'm signing off.kc

Well, the new site is up and running. So happy new year! Just about everything's updated including a re-org, a re-size and a big upgrade to the "extras" page. Another problem was addressed, I got the site closer to 800 x 600 friendly. It should help in the download time, too. I hope.

Plus, the first two pages of chapter 4 are up with more on the way. This is the chapter where the ball really gets rolling. As you may have noticed, there are quite a few pages in this chapter so it'll be a while before I get to the end because none of it has been drawn unlike the previous chapters. In other words, I'm caught-up.

Over the holidays we finally got the CGI script for the forms working and that was a major accomplishment. That's one big ass monkey off our backs. Also, I'm getting more space for the site cuz about the time I hit the middle of chapter 4, I'll be plumb-out.

Anyway, I hope that everyone had a good holiday and there will be new pages up soon. Also, tell us what you think of the new site. We'd like to hear your feedback! Thanks.kc

Whew. All done. It was getting mighty furious to crank out the end of the chapter. I was determined to finish! Eight stinkin' pages in a row. FINALLY I will step into undrawn and virgin territory. I haven't drawn new pages in quite some time so this should be interesting. The next chapter is where the plot really begins so it should be fun. Not to mention new characters and new worlds.

However, now begins the holiday season and it's going to be tougher to find time to work on this project (especially with N64's "Zelda" being released right before Thankgiving, Oooo and "Wipeout 64" just prior to that). I'm thinking of going to Paris, too, but I still plan on doing some drawing, writing or site updates during that time, who knows.

I guess what I'm saying is that I'm kinda taking a break for the holidays. But I PROMISE to have something up in January. It may be the end of January, but JANUARY NONETHELESS!!

SO. I just want to wish everyone safe and happy holidays and I'll see you next year! kc

Wuz-up? Three more pages have been posted and extremely soon will be some new upgrades to the site. For one, the site will have a "feedback" and a "mailing list" page that will be integrated into the site rather than making you use your email browser (compliments of Chrispy... thanks dude). As for the new navigator... we're still working on that. Other improvements will be cosmetic, which you have have already noticed. Otherwise, the story is slowly churning along. I may need to completely re-draw one more page (I can't tell you how LAME that is but sometimes it's gotta be done) and some stuff may need some streamlining but the closer I get to the end the faster I'll be able to crank them out (I think). Once I'm on chapter 4 it will be all new territory for me so I'm looking forward to that, not to mention the addition of two important... uh, well, you'll see, I don't want to give it away this early. If your curious, yep Ð this story is already written and frame-by-frame thought out (except for the last two chapters but they were developed when the beginning of the story was... you can't have a good story without an solid ending). Well, thanks for your interest and new pages will be up soon.Thanks.kc

Hey kids! It's almost time for another installment of The Eternity Axis! Yes, more of that flower picking and cute warm fuzzies that have prolifically splattered the pages so far.

Unfortunately, this chapter is going to be a little harder to poop out than the last two, due to the fact that I need to redraw a few of the pages. Some of the older stuff just ain't up to par. However, I hope to have, at least, the next four pages up within the next week (two weeks at the most).

In other news, Chrispy has been streamlining the site (i.e. switch from GIFs to JPEGs) so that it moves a little faster and it won't be so much of a data-hog. Soon, we'll be adding a new page-navagator that will allow you to jump to wherever you want in the site. We're still exploring solutions... but we've almost settled on one.

Bottom line? Soon-soon-monsoon (at least "soon" in the relative sense when one is comparing it to the age of the universe... pffft! - just kidding).kc

6/5/98

Howdy! So it took me a while to get the next few pages up... what can I say? It's gotta look right! Not to mention that I've been busy (I know, same old excuse).

As I've mentioned previously, this chapter is another character set up. In this case, the bad guy. Also, you may be curious to why so many years have passed between chapters... no problem, things will tie together in the third chapter (I hope). But first I have to finish off THIS CHAPTER! Pages 18-21 will be up shortly.

I plan to start up a mailing list for those who want to be updated. If you want, just hit the feedback button and put "update me" in the subject head. I'll add you to the email list and you'll recieve a heads-up as soon as new pages are available.

Lastly, I'd like to dedicate the second chapter to the memory of Chrispy's mom. She recently passed away and will be deeply missed.

4/7/98

Finally, everything for the first chapter is up and running. There's a few things Chrispy and I need to work on but as a whole, I think it's a solid start. As for the story, the first and second chapters are setting up the histories of the two main characters but once I get into the third chapter, you'll see more about the Templar and that's where the story really gets going. I think you'll like the surprises I have in store for the future because it gets really twisted. And what's a good story without a few wrenching twists?

March news

After thirteen years and three complete rewrites, I finally decided to stick this puppy up on the web. So first I want to say thanks to Chris Thornton for doing the editing, technical advising and the html. Next, I want to say thanks to Chris Weigand for showing me how it's done. And lastly, to thank Frank Herbert, Philip K. Dick and James O'Barr for inspiration.

Anyway, we are trying to get pages up as fast as we can. I have nearly 40 pages already drawn but only a handful are actually colored. Plus, since I began drawing it, my skills have improved and there's a big difference between the first and the second half. So I may redraw some of them. No big deal.
Well, thanks for takin' a gander and I hope you like it. kc

Coming Soon

More Pages More, More, More thanks again. chrispy
